Comme des Garcons Shirt x Pointer AFD

Comme des Garcons always brings quality clothing and footwear to its consumers. Comme des Garcons Shirt has now worked with Pointer to redo the popular AFD silhouette. The shoes created are more of a worn-in, washed-out look than what we are normally used to seeing with Pointer. The shoes come in a black and a brown colorway, with a canvas upper, minimal branding and a customized Comme des Garcons Shirt insole. These should start hitting select retailers around the world so keep your eyes peeled.

Nike Zoom Kobe VII | Inline

Kobe Bryant’s seventh signature shoe is now here. From the Kobe III to the IV seemed to be the biggest leap that Kobe has gone through with his signature line of shoes. Now with the VII, this could arguably be considered the biggest transition. The new Zoom Kobe VII features a synthetic Flywire upper, a Zoom Air unit in the heel and the most noticeable, a removable ankle bootie. The bootie features Nike’s Pro-Combat padding with an adjustable velcro strap around the ankle and through the insole of the shoe. The VII also features the lateral stability feature around the sole of the shoe, very similar to the V and the VI. The inline, or white/purple/black colorway, will be the first of many colorways to release. These look to be a very good aesthetically made basketball shoe, but the ankle strap might take some getting use to.

Adidas Consortium Returns

2007 seems so long ago when talking about the old Adidas Consortium releases. So much has happened since then, but don’t worry, this year is the return of the Adidas Consortium line. Instead of releasing wild colors and crazy materials on the new shoes, Adidas has decided to take a more minimal and tonal approach for there first release under the Consortium line this year. At first glance, these might look like a normal pair of white shoes, but don’t be fooled. These shoes feature premium pig-skin suede, nubuck, mesh and goatskin uppers, with waxed laces, metal aglets and a heavy gauge thread to top off that luxurious look Adidas was after. This little preview is just a small taste of what the Consortium line has to offer. These 5 pairs will release November 26th, but stay tuned as we get more information regarding the rest of the line.
