The Hundreds | Santa Monica

We’ve seen The Hundreds blow up in the past few years. From Disney drawings to Paisley hoodies, we’ve been supporting them for a while. We’ve seen the opening of each store and now we are seeing another chapter of The Hundreds open up. The Hundreds is opening a location in Santa Monica, CA. The opening will go down on April 1st at 11am. We would just like to congratulate The Hundreds on the opening of a new store. We will definitely be down there to check it out soon.

SF Benny Gold Flagship Store Video

Benny Gold has slowly built some steam is now planning to open a new store replacing its current location sometime next month.

Just as the announcement of HUF SF closing broke out yesterday, we now have a good news that new opening in SF is in the works.

The past few months we have been dropping hints about something major in the works. Well, here it is — I am pleased to announce that we are moving our SF flagship store to a bigger location!

As much as we love our current store we have outgrown it in a short amount of time. I can’t wait to show you the new space! The store build out is coming along nicely and we are set to move next month… it is going to be great! Thank you for all the support that has made this possible and we hope to see you at our grand opening party!

Thank you to the werehaus for catching up with us right before we move.

-Benny

HUF SF Closing

For the last decade, HUF SF on Sutter, has a been the place to get all the exclusive kicks and gear in the Bay Area.  It was a retail store, as well as a brand, that has shaped the Bay Area Skate and Street scene.  Today, HUF founder and owner, Keith Hufnagel, has announced that the store will be closing down to make wave to a new owner.  San Francisco has lost of one of its prized gems.  The HUF store in Los Angeles will still be operational.

Here is a statement from Keith himself.

To Whom it may concern:

After 9 years of having retail spots in SF, I am selling our last SF shop on Hayes street. We had a great run in SF and I appreciate all the customers and friends we made through the shops over the years. As most of you know, I started my brand, HUF, through the shops. I never could anticipate how well it would be received and what it would grow into. In order to be the best I can be at producing clothing and footwear for my brand, I have to give up my original vision of having a shop where I sold other people’s brands. I’m pretty happy about the opportunity to focus on the HUF brand full-time and feel its time to pass the torch in SF to a new owner that will provide a cool, multi-line sneaker shop for the shoppers in Hayes. We will still be open for a little while in SF while the shop changes hands. We will continue to keep our HUF shop open on Fairfax in Los Angeles where we carry the complete HUF line as well as HUF shop only specialty product, from time to time. Being a skateboarder was a great launch pad for me to own a shop and the shops were a great opportunity to learn how to make clothing. Making clothes helped me learn to make shoes and skating in them helps me learn how to make them better. The business is an extension of myself and ever evolving. Many of the familiar faces you saw in the shops behind the counters over the years have moved on to help me at the brand with design, sales and marketing. The original HUF crew is alive and well. We look forward to bringing quality skateboard lifestyle apparel and footwear for years to come. If you are looking for something and can’t find it elsewhere, check out our site. www.hufsf.com . Thanks to everyone who ever set foot in a HUF shop in SF. We had a great time and hope you did too!

Sincerely,
Keith Hufnagel
